EB-5 Investor Green Card – August 23, 2014 Update

| August 23, 2014 | 0 Comments

Charles Oppenheim, Chief of the Department of State Immigrant Visa Control and Reporting Division, announced that effective August 23, 2014, China EB-5 has become unavailable for the reminder of FY2014. Applicants prior to the August cut-off will still be allotted visa numbers for qualified petitioners. Petitions may continue to be filed pursuant to the normal filing process, of which the USCIS will re-evaluate availability after October 1, 2014.

The positive impact foreign investors have on the U.S. economy is undisputed. The law firm of TonyChangESQ.com diligently encourages federal and state congressional delegates, as well as individuals in our job market, to continue efforts in demanding EB-5 availability to provide stable and sustainable jobs in California.
